Charge
The Task Force on the Review of the IFLA Guidelines for OPAC Displays is charged with a detailed review of the draft Guidelines for OPAC Displays. The Task Force should review the recommendations contained in the guidelines in light of the functions of the catalog expressed in the Paris Principles and the JSC's guidelines by which policy questions and new proposals were to be determined (p. xxvii of 1998 revision of AACR2).
The Task Force shall submit the report to the Chair of CC:DA before April 15, 1999 to facilitate distribution to CC:DA and the CCS Executive Committee.
