Charge

The Task Force on the Review of the Draft Descriptive Cataloging of Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, and Early-Modern Manuscripts (AMREMM) is charged with preparing a detailed review of version 12 of the draft AMREMM . In particular, the Task Force should identify instances in which AMREMM is not consistent with AACR2’s general rules as well as the specific rules for manuscripts, and if possible, suggest means by which consistency with AACR2 could be achieved.

The report of the Task Force shall be sent to the Chair of CC:DA no later than December 1, 2000.
